The O’Donnell Eagles girls basketball squad is off to a 2-0 start after coming home Thursday night from Stanton with a 51-24 win over the Class 3A Buffaloes. O’Donnell senior Zaelan Gloria and junior Maddye Sumners both came close to turning in rare triple doubles for the Eagles. Gloria, a four-year varsity starter, had 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. Sumners had seven points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals.
