Dawson Coach Shelby Binion continues to see bright spots in her young Dragon girls’ attack. “Our girls started out this game playing really well but with only five girls it doesn’t take long for us to tire out,” Binion said after watching her Dragons fall 46-26 Tuesday night at Meadow. Sophomore Leslie Armendariz’s 14 points led the Dragons. Juniors Patricia Mendiaz and Leah Rodriguez had five points each. The Dragon girls will be back in action Friday when they’ll host Whitharral.
