For the fourth straight week, Mario Dimas’ team won the weekly golf scramle Wednesday evening at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Other golfers on Dimas’ team, which shot a 27, were Joe Soliz, Manuel Vasquez and Serapio Arguijo. This week’s closest-to-the-pin winners were Anthony Hernandez on hole number two, at five feet six inches, and Wyatt Birkner on hole number seven, at nine feet four inches. Lamesa Municipal hosts a scramble every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Registration fee is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Golfers are urged to get their teams signed up by 12 noon each Wednesday.
