It’s been right at 25 years since Lamesa’s Tim Demerson last stepped up to the plate. But that didn’t keep this former Lamesa High School slugger from knocking another one out of the ballpark here last Saturday evening when he was the guest speaker at Golden Tornado Baseball’s annual First Pitch Banquet which helps signal the beginning of the baseball season.
