With the District 3-3A meet right around the corner, the Golden Tornadoes’ cross country squad continued making strides in last Saturday’s Lubbock Invitational at Mae Simmons Park. “Since we will run our district meet at this park in a few weeks our young runners gained some valuable experience in this meet,” Golden Tor Coach Rose Mary McCall said.“All of our young runners competed hard on a very challenging course.”A couple of athletes to continue watching in the girls division for the Golden Tors are MaeLyn Rodriguez and Savannah Moreno.“Both have a chance with hard work to get out of district,”
