By breezing past the Petersburg Buffaloes in the first round of the Class 1A state softball playoffs, the Borden County Coyotes are now getting their long awaited playoff rematch against the Vernon Northside Indians.In last year’s area round Vernon Northside held off Borden County, 1-0 and 9-7, in two games played at Hawley.This week’s regional quarterfinal playoff series starts at 6 p.m. Thursday at Abilene Cooper with game two 6 p.m. Friday back at Abilene Cooper.
