Borden County tennis coach Tim Hill couldn’t have asked for much more than what he got from his Coyotes in the two-day District 8-1A tennis tournament which wrapped up Monday at Garden City. “Fourteen out of our 16 kids played for medals, with nine ending up getting them in a really tough district,” Hill said. As a result of their strong showing at the tournament, which started Saturday, Borden County will be sending nine players to the Region I-IA Tournament April 26-27 at South Plains College in Levelland.
