Borden County’s Zane Allen has been a jack of all trades in the Coyotes’ athletic program. After being a standout on both the gridiron and hardwoods, Allen followed it up with a sensational spring where he helped pitch the Coyotes to the regional finals and competed at state in the shot put. Honors continue flowing for the recent graduate. This past week, Allen earned Class 2A second-team all-state honors at first base from the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.
