Eight players who helped the Borden County Coyotes make a return trip to the UIL Class 1A State Softball Tournament have been recognized among the best in the state by the Texas Sportswriters Association. Senior pitcher Katie Gray and junior second baseman Mattie Brumbelow were named as first-team all-state. Coyote junior catcher Tatum Treadwell, junior third baseman Kaitlyn Cribbs and senior outfielder Rayme Jones were named second-team all-state.
