Borden County’s boys basketball team nearly dropped out of Class 1A’s Top 10 following a slim 59-57 win over the Sands Mustangs last week. Coach Bubba Edwards’ hoopsters didn’t look like a ball club on its way down Tuesday at Gail, thumping Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, 92-15. “Our guys needed a wakeup call,” Coach Edwards said. “We primarily used this game tonight as a practice.
