Klondike’s girls and boys basketball teams both placed third in the annual Cougar Classic held last Friday and Saturday at Klondike. The Lady Cougars used a big second half to capture a 56-33 win over Motley County in the third-place game on Saturday. Klondike led 49-34 at the half and outscored their visitors 27-11 in the final two quarters. Megan Arismendez and Haleigh Archer led the Lady Cougars with 16 and 13 points, respectively.
