Klondike’s first-year head volleyball coach Niatha Cullen has been encouraged with her spikers’ progress even if they don’t always have the wins to show for it. The young Cougars got rewarded for their hard work Tuesday night at Cougar Gymnasium as they spiked Class 3A Kermit, 25-13, 23-25, 25-12 and 25-18. Klondike’s is now 2-6 on the year.
