Alec Cates was able to slip in by a single point on the tiebreaker to break up what otherwise would have been a Shofner family sweep in the second week of the Lamesa Press-Reporter’s annual football contest.Hunter Shofner captured the top prize of $25 by picking 11 of the 12 games correctly.Cates, Jordan Shofner and Kasi Shofner all turned in 9-3 records this week.
