After dropping their first game in this past weekend’s 12-and-under District Tournament, Lamesa’s Cal Ripken baseball squad managed to win two out of their last three games. Lamesa opened up the tournament by falling to Denver City, 7-3, last Thursday at the Bill Weaver Youth Sports Complex. Lamesa bounced back on Saturday to defeat Brownfield, 8-1, and then Dimmitt, 11-1.
