Eight Borden County athletes have earned academic all-state recognition from the Texas Six-Man Coaches Association. Senior Camden Edwards as well as juniors Mason Cole, Kylan Edwards, Trey Edwards, Tommy Mack Kingston and Austin Buchanan made the boys Academic All-State Team. Edwards, selected to represent the Coyotes in this summer’s TSMCA all-star football team, will graduate as one of the top students in his class. Representing the Coyotes on the Academic All-State girls team are juniors Haddie Flanagan and Maggie Miller.
