Borden County’s girls basketball team did not get district play kicked off the way they would have liked on Friday at Garden City. A poor fourth quarter contributed to a 40-31 loss for the Lady Coyotes. “The girls played great defense,” Coach Lindsey Schmidt said. “We outscored them three out of the four quarters.
