By going 11-1 and guessing the closest on the tiebreaker, Iris Bergara won this week’s Lamesa Press-Reporter Football Contest. Bergara guessed 65 points on the tie-breaker which saw Snyder hold off Lamesa, 21-8. Edward Evans also went 11-1 but after guessing 76 points on the tie-breaker he gets this week’s second place check of $15. Ruben Salinas was one of five entrants to go 10-2 but after guessing 58 points on the tie-breaker he gets this week’s third place check of $10.
