William (Bill) Moll

    William (Bill) Moll died at age 89 in Cisco, Texas.
    Bill was born in Clyde, Ohio, located in Sandusky County, to parents Ralph William Moll and Julia Elenor (Waltz) Moll.
    He graduated from high school in Bakersfield, California and enlisted in the Air Force, serving active duty until 1960, and he remained in the Air Force reserves until retirement. He moved to Lamesa, Texas in 1960, where he owned and operated the Conoco station and several small businesses. Bill received his teaching certification from Texas A&M in 1971, which allowed him the privilege to teach the new automotive technology program at Lamesa High school for the classes of 1972 and 1973. Bill also served as a rural route carrier for the Lamesa Post Office and later transferred to Bangs, Texas Post Office when he moved to Lake Brownwood, Texas in 1987, where he also owned and operated several small businesses. He retired from the US Postal Service after 13 years of service.
    Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Gertie (Schulz) Moll, whom he married on November 25, 1952 in Baldwin, Alabama. Also, by his half brother John Robert (DeHart) Moll, and his half sisters Ruth Ellen Edgren and Dorothy E. Lange.
    Bill is survived by his wife Maudie Lee (Snider) Moll of Cisco, Texas, whom he married on November 27, 2006 in Brownwood, Texas, and his half sister Jaqueline (DeHart) Searfoss of Orifino, Idaho; daughters Debbie McNemee of Maple Valley, Washington, Sandy Keck of N. Richland Hills, Texas, and Cyndi Carr of Forney, Texas; son Russell Moll of Lubbock, Texas and Stepson Gary Owens of Cisco, Texas. He had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
    A graveside service was held for Bill on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Gorman Cemetery in Gorman, Texas.
