Wanda Hawkins

    Funeral service for Wanda Hawkins, 86, of Lamesa will be held at First Presbyterian Church, April 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with grandson Hunter Hawkins officiating and Pastor Sam Lanham assisting. 
    Interment will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. 
    Visitation will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Wanda passed away April 7, 2021 in Lamesa, Texas.
    She was born on September 26, 1934 in Lubbock, TX. to Earl William and Gladys (Bell) Judd. She married Bob Hawkins on December 31, 1952 in Roswell, New Mexico, then moved to Germany. They were married for 68 years. She loved working at Methodist Covenant Hospital for 17 years.
    Wanda is survived by her husband Bob Hawkins of Lamesa, TX.; children, Bobby Hawkins and wife Leslie of Lamesa, TX., Kim Hawkins and wife Freda of Lamesa, TX., and Kirk Hawkins and wife Chadna of Lubbock, TX.; grandchildren, Chasidy and husband Stacy, Wacey, Hutch and wife Amy, Bryan and wife Brandy, Andy and wife Carrie, Hunter and wife Karleigh, and Haiden; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Cade, Hailey, Olivia, Lillie, Payne and Pryce; and a sister, Earlene Garland of Dallas, TX.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Betty McNeely McQuary.
