Victoria Cantu

Victoria Lee Cantu received her complete healing and was escorted into Heaven by the King on May 5, 2021 at the age of 57.
Victoria was born on December 31, 1963 in Lamesa, Texas to David Joseph and Shirley Ann Halfmann. She attended Lamesa High School and graduated in the class of 1981. While in high school, she attended a cosmetology vocational course where she received her license and began her career of 40 years as a hair dresser.
In December of 1989, she welcomed her daughter, Sabra Shea Cantu, with former spouse David Cantu, Jr. Shortly after, she moved to San Angelo where she dedicated her life to raising Shea and continuing her career as a hair dresser. Victoria became an active member at Word of Life Assemblies of God in 2001 and loved the Lord with all she was. She had a passion for loving others with His love, which was evident in all she did.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her nieces and nephews, going shopping on girl trips, working on puzzles and being creative. She loved to laugh and her smile was infectious. She enjoyed her profession and all those she encountered through it. Her quick-witted personality and spunk was one like no other and will be dearly missed.
Victoria was met in Heaven by a cloud of witnesses, including her nephews Nathan Ross Halfmann and Charlton Jacob Loftin.
She lives on in the hearts of her parents, David and Shirley Halfmann of Robert Lee, Tx; her daughter, Sabra Shea Cantu and fiancé Kyle Kuehner and family; her sister, Susan and Gene Loftin of Sundown, Tx and daughter April Ann Loftin; her brothers David Halfmann of Robert Lee, Tx, Roy and Susan Halfmann of Lamesa, Tx and children Kimberly Renee Halfmann and Brian Adam Halfmann, and Pat and Teresa Halfmann of Pottsboro, Tx and son Jonathan Adam Halfmann; great nieces and nephew Ariel Star Loftin and Kaydence Belle Loftin of Sundown, Tx, Avery Breann Goad of Lamesa, Tx, and Zady’n James Coulter of Lamesa, Tx; former spouse David Cantu, Jr. and family; many cousins, extended family and friends.
Her celebration will be held Monday, May 10 at 10 am at Word of Life Assemblies of God in San Angelo, Tx. Family and friends may sign an online guestbook at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com
