Victor Dimas Jr.

As many of you know, Victor Dimas Jr. was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma brain tumor in mid June of 2022. We decided surgery would be our best option, but the doctor told us time and time again this tumor is the most aggressive they know of. At 49 years old, Victor was determined and fought for his family. Unfortunately, 4 months after surgery, the tumor took over Victor again and he passed in Medical City in Fort Worth, Texas on October 16th of 2022 at 2:11 .
Before illness overcame Victor, he was a hardworking man providing as much as he could for his children. Besides working a 9-5, he loved talking with his children, watching whatever game was on, and throwing on a neon yellow shirt to have an occasional family get together with his parents and brothers.
Victor was married to Leslie Dimas and together they had 5 children; Victor Dimas III, Dayanara Dimas, Lucero Dimas, Noelia Dimas and Alizayah Dimas.
Victor voiced to his parents (Sylvia and Victor Dimas Sr.) and brothers (Jonathan and Isaac Dimas) that he would like to be buried in his hometown, Lamesa, Texas.
We will come together to honor Victor Dimas Jr’s. life with a service held at Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa, Tx on Oct 19th 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery.
Those speaking to honor his life will be Victor Jr’s 3 older children Victor III, Dayanara & Lucero. His brothers Isaac & Jonathan along with Don McClendon, a dear friend of the family, will also be speaking to honor Victor Jr.
