Terry Bob Makowsky, age 69, of Big Spring, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born August 2, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas to parents Daniel John Makowsky and Bobbie (Carraway) Makowsky.
Terry was born, raised and lived his entire life in West Texas. He graduated from Lamesa High School in 1970. He lived in Lamesa, Ackerly and Big Spring. For the last 33 years he lived in Big Spring where he worked as a cotton farmer, hot oil operator and general contractor. He enjoyed spending time with friends, hanging out telling stories and having a “cold one” or “wettin’ a hook” or better yet having a “cold one” while “wettin’ a hook.”
Survivors include sons Daniel Makowsky of St. Louis, MO, Monty Makowsky of Lamesa, TX and Matthew Makowsky of Lubbock, TX and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Bobbie Makowsky, and brothers Michael Makowsky and Jeff Makowsky.
