Taran Kelley

    Funeral services for Taran Christian Kelley, 28, of Colorado Springs, Colorado will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church  with Pastor Alan Korinek officiating. 
    Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Taran went to be with the Lord and Savior in his eternal home April 8, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 
    He was born October 12, 1992 in Lamesa, Texas to Dusty Lyn Kelley Sr. and Robin Rebber. Taran graduated from Lamesa High School in 2010. He loved playing video games with his wife and best friend, Joanna Kelley. Taran enjoyed skateboarding when he was younger.  He loved mountain biking especially in Colorado where he moved a couple of years ago.  He fell in love with Colorado when visiting his uncle. He also enjoyed collecting guns and knives. He competed in air soft gun competitions. He worked at Automated Control for a few years before moving. He was a manager for Battery Systems Inc. of Colorado.  He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. 
    Taran is survived by his wife, Joanna Kelley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; mother, Robin Rebber of Lamesa; brothers, Dusty Lyn Kelley, Jr.  and wife, Jae of Borden County and Matthew Stafford of Lamesa; grandparents, Don and Martha Rebber and Jack Kelley all of Lamesa; father and mother in laws, Albert and Celia Billalbobos; sister in laws, Miranda Billalobos and husband, Gabriel  Guerrero, and Sonia Barron; uncles, Ricky Rebber and wife, Rhonda, and Rocky Kelley; aunts, Rhonda Rebber and Brand Brooks and husband, Scott; and his fur baby, Ozzy.He is preceded in death by his father, Dusty Lyn Kelley, Sr.; grandmother, Donnie Kelley; and uncle, Randy Kelley.
