Sylvia Sturgeon

    Funeral service for Sylvia Luna Sturgeon, 61, of Lamesa, will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery.  
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Viewing will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
    Sylvia passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 in Midland. 
    She was born March 21, 1960 in Brownfield, Texas to Domingo Luna and Martha Alcorta Luna. She worked for Pizza Hut as a waitress and delivery driver.  She enjoyed crocheting and helping others.
    Sylvia is survived by her sister, Irene Castaneda and husband, Ricky of Midland and brother, Eddie Luna of Abilene. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents.
