Ruben R. Mojica

    A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Ruben R. Mojica, age 57, of Lamesa, at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. 
    Interment will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service on Thursday, at 7:00 p.m., at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
    Ruben passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on July 4, 1961 in Lamesa. 
    He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rudy R. Mojica, Julian R. Mojica, Johnie R. Mojica and Mariano R. Mojica Jr.
    Ruben was a lifelong resident of Lamesa. He served in the National Guard. Ruben enjoyed spending time at home and with his family.
    Survivors include, his mother, Adelaida R. Mojica, and father, Mariano H. Mojica of Lamesa; his sister, Mary M. Castellano, and his brother, David R. Mojica, both of Lamesa, Texas; and several relatives and friends.
