Roy ‘Rocky’ Lawrence Dickerman Jr.

    A memorial service for Roy “Rocky” Lawrence Dickerman, Jr., 63, of Lamesabe held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Lamesa Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gwen Aldridge officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Rocky passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, in Lamesa, TX.
    He was born on July 18, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas to Roy Lawrence Dickerman Sr. and Jenny Wren (Cargil) Dickerman. Rocky married Gayla Hogg on September 26, 2013, in Ruidoso, New Mexico. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Britt Trucking. He loved riding his motorcycles and was an animal lover. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
    Rocky is survived by his wife, Gayla Hogg of Lamesa; children, Chad Lasater and wife, Shaina of Lamesa, D’Shawna Dickerman of Lamesa, Stephen Smith of Whitney, Sasha Smith of Lubbock, Shayla Hogg of Lubbock, and grandson, Brandon Guzman of Lamesa; and numerous other grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
