Ronnie Hendon

    Funeral service for Ronnie Hendon, 70, of Welch will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church with Pastor Kendall Meek officiating and Randy Hanes assisting.
     Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Ronnie passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.  He was born December 4, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas to Gene and Norma Jean (Armbruster) Hendon. He married Sharon Bearden June 8, 1973, in Welch, Texas.  They were married for 49 years.  He spent most of his life farming. 
    Ronnie loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed building Legos and playing ball with them.  He was very loved and will be missed.
    Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sharon Hendon of Welch; children, Kristi Culp and husband, Randy and Brent Hendon and wife, Bralie; mother, Norma Jean Hendon of Lamesa; sister, Anna Bearden of Brownfield; four grandchildren, Taylor Culp, Kelley Culp, Clayton Culp, and Graham Hendon. 
    Ronnie is preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Rodney Bearden.
