Robert S. Flaniken ‘Bob’, 79, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on March 30th, 2024 in the presence of family. Born on April 12th, 1944, in Lamesa, TX, Bob was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife Marcy Flaniken; his son Jordan; a grandson, Sam, and Jordan’s family, as well as Marcy’s family. Bob served as a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1969 and later graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1973. Thereafter, he practiced law in Texas and Oklahoma until 2020 when he retired.
