Robbie Joe Hankins

    Funeral services for Robbie Joe Hankins will be held, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Hardman officiating.  Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Robbie Joe Hankins Born June 26, 1934, passed away in the early morning on March 22, 2023, at the age of 88 years old. 
    He served in the United States Army for six years. He was a lifelong Master Electrician who loved his work and spending time with his family. 
    Robbie was pre-deceased by his first wife, Vernell Hankins, and two sons, 
Ronald Gene Hankins and Darren Lee Hankins, a sister Lillie Melton, and two brothers Robert Jr. Hankins and James Ray Hankins, and his mother and father. 
    Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Wanda J. Hankins of Lubbock, TX; his sons, Don W. Hankins (Tonya) of Carnegie, OK and Tommy Blackburn of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Jeri Coin (Lynx) of Strasburg, CO; grandson, Hoimaha Coin (Josie Smith) of Stigler, OK; two granddaughters,  Brittany Hankins (Greg McAlister)  of Big Spring, TX  and Kayla Ballew (Michael) at Eldorado TX;  three great grandchildren , Shayla Buchkowski (Aaron) of Stephans Point, WI, Ella Ballew and Grant Ballew of Eldorado TX; great great grandchild Emma Buchkowski of WI; sister Theda Wise (Bill) of Yukon, OK; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
