Pearl Crutcher

    Pearl Ann Bailey Crutcher, 79, of New Moore, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, of a sudden illness at the Lynn County Hospital. 
    A private service was planned for Monday, January 4, 2021 after her cremation. Burial will follow at a later date.
    She, and her twin brother Earl, were born on September 17, 1941 in Ackerly, Texas to Thomas Campbell and Lois Nixon Bailey. Pearl graduated salutatorian from Klondike High School.
    Pearl married John “Butch” Crutcher on January 18, 1964 in Lamesa. Before, and in the beginning of their marriage, Pearl was Dr. Seale’s x-ray technician in Lamesa. The couple farmed in and around New Moore. She also worked at various cotton gins during cotton harvest seasons.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hazel and Daitha; brothers, Tommy, Kenneth, Karol and Maurice.
    Survivors include her husband of nearly 57 years, Butch of New Moore; son, Darryl and Regina Crutcher of Draw; daughters, Stacy Crutcher of New Moore and Dawn Little of Tahoka; grandchildren, Kaleb and Sammy Crutcher of O’Donnell, Katy Crutcher of New Moore, and Bailey and Michael Resendez of O’Donnell; great-grandchildren, Kirk Baumgartner, Aubree Crutcher, Hunner and Ryder Resendez; two brothers, her twin Earl Bailey of Nocona and Dennis Bailey of Clyde; sister, Jann Van Tuyl of Virginia; sister-in-law, Cara Crutcher of Azle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
