Pauline Odom

    Services for Evelyn Pauline Odom, 74, of Lamesa will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at First Church of the Nazarene in Lamesa with Pastor Lee Lennon officiating.
    Viewing will be 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at First Church of the Nazarene.
    Burial will be in the Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Church Angels Funeral Home.
    Pauline died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 in Lubbock.
    She was born April 6, 1944 in Brownwood, TX.  She married Louis Odom Jr. on Feb. 2, 1967 in Lamesa.
    She was a lifelong member of the United Church of God in Lubbock, TX.  She had a passion for the Lord that flowed out to everyone she met.  She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.  She was full of love and compassion, and truly enjoyed sharing God’s word.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Odom Jr. of Lamesa; a sister, Margaret Rudd; and a brother, William Abernathy.
    Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Turner of Lamesa; two sons, Louis Odom III and James Odom, both of Lamesa; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
