Orval Moore

Orval Dwight Moore, 84, of Azle, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday November 25, at the funeral home.

Orval was born on February 28, 1934 in Gladewater, Texas to Adrian and Eva McClendon Moore. He was a route salesman for Borden Foods and later worked for Phillips Water Hauling. Orval was a member of North Side Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, camping and baking and loved to spend time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dwight Moore; granddaughter, Allison; as well as his siblings, Elton, Troy, Sherry and Blanche.

Orval leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years, Ernestine; daughters, Janese Hood and husband, Brent, of Azle and Amanda Evans and husband, Craig, of North Hollywood, California; daughter-in-law, Beverly Moore of Burleson; brother, Delmar Moore of Lamesa; grandchildren, Brandon, Andrea, Carrie, Dillon, Ciarra and Connor; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Blake and Mya; and many extended family and friends.
