Margaret Frazer

Margaret Louise (Watson) Frazer, 94, joined her many loving family members and friends in heaven on 11/11/22, at 4:30 PM.
She was born May 6, 1928 on a farm near Lamesa, in west Texas, to Leslie William (L.W.) Watson, Sr. and Mattie Jewell (Bussell) Watson.
Margaret was preceded in death by not only her parents but her older brother LW Watson, Jr. (Dub) of Lamesa, two sisters: Nelda Faye Holt of Oxnard CA, Melba Lee Trahan of Rockwall TX, as well as Margaret’s son Michael Doak Winder of Wellston OK, and several of her numerous grandchildren.
She is survived by her youngest sister Martha Rebber of Lamesa TX, as well as two daughters: Angela Lee (Winder) Burns and Judith Annette (Winder) Cole, both of OKC. There are too many loving grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family to mention all their names.
Margaret married at 21 to Bill Winder of Wichita Falls TX, an oilfield geologist. She met him while working as a switch board operator for Bell Telephone in her hometown of Lamesa TX.
They moved all over the US and Canada for 24 years during the oil boom, while raising their three children. They divorced in 1970 while living in Edmond OK.
Margaret remained blissfully single and a fashion diva, working in retail sales for about 14 years before marrying Henry S Frazer in 1983. Being retired, they enjoyed over 30 years of travel, live music, dancing, and entertaining their many friends and family members (especially the grandkids!).
Following Henry’s passing in 2012 at 91, Margaret remained a widow. She was an amazing cook and hostess as well as seamstress, gardener, wife, and mother. Her legacy has to be one of kindness, generosity, and compassion. She truly was an angel living amongst us, and lived her life for Jesus.
Margaret was well loved and adored by all who knew her. She never met a stranger, always making everyone feel special and appreciated. Her radiant smile, beautiful auburn hair, sapphire blue eyes, and sparkling personality will be deeply missed.
Margaret passed peacefully at home in OKC where she was living with her daughter, and surrounded by loved ones. A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 on Monday, Dec. 5th, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St and Sooner Rd, Del City. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimers Association in memory of Margaret & Henry Frazer.
