Manuel Castillo

    A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Manuel Castillo age 61 of Lamesa, Tx., at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Chacko Thadathil officiating. Funeral arrangement are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    The viewing will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary prayer service at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
    Manuel passed away surrounded by his family at his home on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in Lamesa, Tx. He was born on October 30, 1962, in Lamesa, Tx.
    Manuel was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Castillo; his brother-in-law, Danny Lozada.
    Manuel was a Big Laker fan, enjoyed sports, watching Wrestling, golf-some, and enjoyed family. He loved Facetiming his grandson. Manuel was a big collector of “Hot Wheels”.
    Manuel is survived by his son, Gabriel Castillo (Jessika Martinez) of Tucson, Arizona; his significant-other, Tami Casper of Tuscon, Arizona; his father, Alfredo Castillo of Lamesa, Tx.; his sister, Nancy Lozada of Lamesa, Tx.; his grandson, Charlie Castillo of Tucson, Arizona; his niece, Mandee Lozada of Lamesa, Tx.; his nephews, Isaac Lozada of Lamesa, Tx., and Mark Lozada of Austin, Tx.; his grand-nephews, Draven Chaves, and Lukas Chaves, both of Lamesa, Tx., several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numberous relatives and friends.
