Liboryo Iglesias, Jr.

    Funeral services for Liboryo “Chacha” Iglesias, Jr., age 52, of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremiah Aguayo officiating. 
    Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Liboryo passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Martin County, Texas. 
    He was born on December 14, 1969 in Lamesa, TX. In about 2005 Liboryo and Isabel Dominquez joined together to begin a new family life. 
    Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Inspirational Services starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Liboryo was preceded in death by his son, Antonio Iglesias; his infant grandson Ezekiell Omar Tobart; his grandparents, Sebastian and Ramona Iglesias, and Cruz and Amelia Baltazar, Sr.
    Chacha was a farm hand for many years. He was a “Die Hard Oakland Raider’s Fan”. He was full of life – the life of the party at family events. Liboryo lived each day to the fullest, he was always happy, always smiling, never met a stranger. He enjoyed his evening crusies. His family was everything to him; he loved spending time with his loving family. Liboryo Iglesias, Jr. will be missed tremendously.
    Those left to cherish his memory are his significant-other, Isabel Dominguez of Lamesa, TX.; his parents, Liboryo and Adelita Iglesias, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.; his daughter, Miranda Iglesias of Odessa, TX., and his son, Richard Iglesias of Lubbock, TX.; his brothers, Jessie Iglesias, Josue Iglesias, Sebastian (Veronica) Iglesias, and Robert (Roseann) Iglesias, all of Lamesa, TX.; his sister, Teresa (Leroy) Cervantes of San Angelo, TX.; his step-son, Freddy (Debbie) Segovia of Lamesa, TX.; his step-daughters, Corina Dominguez, and Angela (Joseph) Salazar, all of Lamesa, TX.; 16 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives, and friends.
