Leandro ‘Danny’ Garcia, Jr.

    On the date of Monday, January 18, 2021, the Lord called home at the age of 53, our beloved Leandro Daniel (Danny) Garcia, Jr. 
    Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Danny was born on September 15, 1967 in Hanford, California. He married Maria Sylvia Menjares on February 14, 2007 in Sacramento, California. 
    He was preceded in death by his father, Leandro Daniel Garcia, Sr.; and his father-in-law, Edward Menjares
    Danny worked at United Gin for 15 years, where his co-workers called him “primo.” He enjoyed reading, and loved to watch football and basketball.
    Danny is survived by his wife, Maria Sylvia Garcia of Lamesa, TX.; his mother, Eva Garcia Diaz of Lemoore, CA.; his mother-in-law, Maria Menjares of Lamesa, TX.; his daughter, Alexandra and husband, Philip Curits of Lemoore, CA., his sons, Cesar Garcia, and Nicholas Garcia, both of Lemoore, CA., and Leandro Garcia III of Oregon; his step-son, Paul Menjares of Lamesa, TX., and step-daughter, Diana Salas of Sacramento, CA.; his siblings, Albert Linerez and wife, Norma, Delbert Garica and wife, Kim, Richard Linerez, Anna Linerez, Angie Burton, and Paul Garcia; 12 grandchildre and 13 great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
