Judy Ruth Doyle Kingston

    Funeral services for Judy Ruth Doyle Kingston, 84, of Borden County will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Branon Funeral Home chapel with Minister Mark Hackett officiating. Burial will follow at Gail Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Judy Ruth Kingston was born on November 16, 1939, in Lamesa, TX to Garland and Eva Doyle. She was raised in the Plains community near the old Mesquite school house and attended and graduated from Borden County High School. Judy was very proud to be a Borden County Coyote and supported the school and reunions for many years. Judy married Glen Thomas Kingston on September 6, 1958, in Lamesa, Texas. They were married for 44 years until his passing on March 18, 2003.
    Glen and Judy raised their 3 children, Clay, Jody and Greg in Garden City, Texas. Judy served as the County Treasurer for Glasscock County for 12 years. In 1994, Glen and Judy and Clay moved back to the Family Farm in Borden County. Judy spent most of her life taking care of others from her son Clay until his passing and then her husband Glen until his passing. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending all their sporting events. Judy was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Gail, Texas.
    Judy is survived by her sons Jody and wife Leisha Kingston of Frisco, Texas and Greg and wife Wendi Kingston of Greenwood, Texas, 5 grandchildren Patricia Kingston of Stanton, Texas, Candace and husband Josh Gilmore of Choudrant, Louisiana, Cade and wife Rachel Kingston of Ft Worth, Texas, Jace Kingston of Frisco, Texas and Trey Kingston and fiancé Kenzie Ward of Frisco, Texas. Judy is also survived by her sister-in-law Ollie and husband Kent Holmes of Borden County and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents Garland & Eva Doyle, her husband Glen Kingston, her son Clay Kingston & her brothers Lonnie Doyle and Larry Doyle.
    The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Marcy Place for all their love and kindness and care that they showed Judy. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to New Mexico Childrens Home or your favorite charity.
