Judith ‘Judi’ Anderson
Funeral services for Judith A. “Judi” Anderson, 77, of Lamesa will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, from 1:30 p.m. until service time, at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
Judi passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Lamesa. She was born on March 18, 1941 in Lamesa to Archie Lynn and Lela (Marquis) Montgomery.
She married Charles “Charley” Anderson on January 9, 1961 in Austin. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2014. They were married 53 years.
Judi’s passion was being outside on the farm. She was a secretary for the Dawson County District Attorney’s Office for 30 years. She was a certified EMT and a librarian, having worked at Dawson County Library. Judi loved being a farmer’s wife, and mother. She enjoyed passing the time reading.
Judi is survived by daughter, Lyn Hill and fiance, Troy McKinney, of Little Elm; son, Lee Anderson and wife, Wendy, of Lamesa; brother, Bill Montgomery of Lubbock; grandchildren, Lexi Weir and husband, Devin, Charlie Anderson, Ande Stephenson, Jessice Stice, Helen Anderson and Mike Williams; sister-in-law, Kathy Exter and husband, Steve, of Lubbock; and brother-in-law, Bob Anderson and wife, Jane, of San Marcos.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Kent Hill.
