Johnny Lucio

    Memorial funeral services for Juan Jose (Johnny) Lucio, Jr., age 61, of Lamesa, Texas will be held at a later date in Lamesa. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Johnny passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2020 in Lamesa.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Jose Lucio, Sr.; his brother, Adan Lucio; his sister, Guadalupe Lucio; his grandfather, Daniel Lucio; his grandmother, Margarita Lopez; his step-grandfather, Guadalupe Lopez; his grandfather, Aurelio Melendez; his grandmother, Agrpina Melendez; his niece, Vanessa Moreno.
    Johnny loved to play washers, poker, golf, and enjoyed listening to music, and watching the Dallas Cowboys with his family and friends. Johnny worked for Lamesa Delinting Company for over 20 years, the Lamesa GMC/Chevrolet auto dealership for 8 years, and The City of Lamesa Municipal Golf course for 2 years. 
    Lobelia V. Minjarez (Honey Bee), a very special friend he loved very much, stood by his side until God called him home.
    Johnny is survived by his loving family, his mother, Ofelia M. Lucio of Lamesa, TX.; his daughters, Jennifer Fidler (Taylor) and grand-daughters, Elayne Fidler and Jessie Fidler, all of Lubbock, TX.; and Lindesy Osborne (Trey) and grand-daughter, Caroline Osborne, and grandsons, Luke Osborne and Wesley Grant Osborne, all of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Isabel Lopez (Gene) of Midland, TX., Grace Moreno (Chuy) of Lamesa, TX., Esmeralda (BB) Lucio of Midland, TX., Elsa Garza (Gabriel) of Midland, TX., Carolina Gamboa (Miguel) of Midland, TX., Ofelia (Princess) Lucio of Midland, TX., and Laura Marquez (Chris) of Lamesa, TX.; his brothers, Pepe Lucio (Selma) of Lubbock, TX., Danny Lucio of Lamesa, TX., Paul Lucio (Mandy) of Lamesa, TX., Javier Lucio (Amy) of Dallas, TX., and Michael Lucio (Diana) of Midland, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
