Jimmy Doyle  Wyatt

Jimmy Doyle Wyatt, 79, of Gainesville, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 18, 2024.
Jimmy was born April 7, 1945, in Lamesa, TX to Howard Wyatt and Charlyne (Norris) Wyatt. After attending Lamesa schools, he enrolled at North Texas State University and graduated in 1970. Mr. Wyatt married Judy Winn on August 20, 1966, in Lamesa. He enjoyed his long career as a homebuilder around the Houston area.
Mr. Wyatt played and loved the game of baseball, and he was able to continue that passion through coaching his daughters in softball for years and watching his grandchildren play. He was always ready to attend any event in which his grandchildren were involved. He also enjoyed firearms, classic cars, and spending time with family. His favorite place to spend time was Caddo Lake. He loved to tell stories; anything from childhood years, funny college days, tennis days, to something funny that had happened just that day.
He was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Sugarland, TX. While there, he loved being a part of his church home group. His faith in the Lord kept him lifted up and is what got him through his illness in the past two years.
Survivors include wife Judy Wyatt of Gainesville; daughter Brandi Cegielski and her husband Craig of Sugarland, and their children Cody, Colson, and Cooper; daughter Tami McGlothlin and her husband Shawn of Gainesville, and their children Kayli, Brianna, and Aidan; and many more beloved relatives and friends.
Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Charlyne (Norris) Wyatt and many other close and loved relatives.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Wyatt’s honor to a charitable cause of your choosing.
