Jerry Grayson

    Memorial service for Jerry Thomas Grayson, 41, of Lamesa will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Faith Temple Dayspring Church of Lamesa, 1108 N. 7th St. With Pastor Jerry Walton officiating.
    Jerry passed away March 1, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born December 4, 1982, in Gainesville, Texas and was adopted by Sylvester Ray and Wanda Ruth (Harding) Grayson.
    Jerry was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
    He worked and played hard and was well known for his sense of humor and quick wit, he would also give anyone the shirt off his back… even if it meant he would do without. He loved his entire family, especially his kids, babies, nieces, and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
    He is preceded in death by his biological parents; dad, Sylvester Grayson, and brother, Joseph Bowen.
    Jerry is survived by his mom, Ruth Grayson of Nacogdoches, Texas; wife, Cassie Grayson of Lamesa; children, Serenity-Ann Lupita Grayson, Jerry Ray Grayson, Kodi Jeanne Grayson, Kinadee Rose Lobstein, and Kayla Nite Lobstein; sisters, Toni Early of Gainesville, Texas, Myrta Bowen of Bremerton, Washington, and Tamara Grayson of Slidell, Louisiana; brothers, James Grayson and wife Ashley of Lamesa, Texas, Brian Grayson and wife Cassandra of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Michael Madron and wife Nikki of Lamesa, Texas; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and Steve, his very loving and devoted service dog.
    Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home.
