Jennifer Bailey

    Our beloved Jennifer Marie Bailey (Brewer) of Dallas, Texas went to be with the Lord Friday, March 12, 2021, in Grapevine, Texas. 
    She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, nana, wife, friend, and talented designer to all who knew her. 
    Jennifer was born January 15, 1963, to James and Aida Brewer in Philadelphia, PA.
    Jennifer accomplished many things in life including being a business owner, started a publishing company and furniture line, wrote a fictional book “God’s Silent Partner” based on the importance of listening to the Lord and trusting in His plans, was a Lead Mentor at Buckner’s Children’s Home, along with hosting a radio show “A Godly View.” 
    Jennifer enjoyed dancing, roller skating, tennis, golf, and fishing in her free time. Jennifer was a dedicated Christian who helped minister many individuals throughout her life. Her proudest accomplishments were her children, grandchildren, and marriage to John.
    Jennifer is survived by her husband John; children Heather, Sarah, Austin (Corina), Brandon (Megan), Shawn (Amy), Kohl (Morgan), and Chastyn; sisters Geralyn (Terry), and Michelle (Lewis); brothers James (Diane), and Patrick (Teresa); and aunts Alice, and Connie.  Jennifer was blessed with 28 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 21 nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
    Along with her parents, Jennifer is preceeded in death by uncle Antonio, brother Jason, and aunts Flo and Melly.
    A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27th, 2021, at Church On The Rock, South Campus, 10503 Slide Road, Lubbock, TX 79424. Officiated by Pastor Mike Barkowsky. In April, there will be a burial at Bigfork Cemetery in Bigfork, Minnesota where she will be laid to rest. 
    Psalm 1:3: “He shall be like a tree, Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”
