Jane Hogue Lawler Brown

    Mrs. Jane Hogue Lawler Brown, 82, of San Angelo,TX and formerly of Snyder, died on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
    A Funeral Service for Mrs. Brown will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Reid Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Brown was born on January 9, 1941, to Frank and Hattie (Cathcart) Hogue on the family farm just outside of Lamesa, TX where she was proudly raised. She married George Wayne Lawler on July 18, 1970, and he preceded her in death in 1976. Jane was lucky enough to find love again and married Ronald Ray Brown on February 10, 1982. He also preceded her in death in 2021, after 39 years of marriage.
    Jane will be remembered for being an excellent seamstress as well as for being a bookkeeper for several medical facilities. She also mentored several work study students at the hospital. Once done rearing her children, she became an avid animal lover, especially to her little puppy, Layla. She was an incredible mother, raising 3 children on her own. It was very important to her that they be raised to know Jesus and so they were all brought up within the walls of Colonial Hill Baptist Church. She leaves behind a well-worn Bible and as many friends and family passed before her, we take heart in knowing a cloud of witnesses met her at the Gates of Heaven.
    She is survived by two Daughters, Trina L. Rodgers and husband Kerry, San Angelo, TX., Sandy Clifton and husband Jim, San Angelo, TX; one son, Donald Lawler and wife Lisa, Lubbock, TX;
five Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hattie Hogue; one sister,
Sallie Bailey; one brother,
Jimmy Hogue; and two husbands, George  Wayne Lawler and Ronald Ray Brown.
    Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
