Hily Savage

    Graveside service for Hily Kite Savage, 90, of Lamesa will be held at Dawson County Cemetery, Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Randy Hardman officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Hily passed away July 6, 2021 in Tahoka, Texas.
    She was born June 21, 1931 in Shallowater, Texas to George and Dell (Myers) Kite. She married Jack Savage July 16, 1949 in Lamesa, Texas. They were married 71 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gail where she taught Sunday school. She loved to play the piano, enjoyed sewing and traveling.
    Hily is survived her daughter, Oouita Morris of Lamesa, TX.; grandchildren, Stacy Morris and wife, April of Lamesa, TX. and Tina Boles and husband, Sanford of Lamesa, TX.; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bruce Savage and son-in-law, Arlen Morris; and ten siblings.
    The family suggests memorials to Lynn County Hospital 2600 Lockwood, Tahoka, Texas 79373 or a charity of choice.
