Helen H. Mendoza

    Private funeral service for Helen H. Mendoza, age 70, of Snyder will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Snyder First Assembly in Snyder, Texas with Pastor Steven Pena officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home of Lamesa.  Face masks are required at funeral service and seating will be limited to immediate family only.  Livestream will be available at https://www.facebook.com/SnyderFirst/
    Helen went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 19, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas.  
    She was born August 7, 1950 to Domingo and Herminda Hernandez.  She was married to Perfecto V. Mendoza.  Helen was a housewife, she enjoyed working on her yard, decorating her home, and loved to clean.  Spending time with her family was what she loved the most.  She loved the color yellow and sunflowers. She was a member of Snyder First Assembly and loved her church family.
    Helen is survived by her husband, Perfecto V. Mendoza Sr. of Snyder; her children, Orlando Maldonado and wife, Maria of Odessa, Brenda Alvarado and husband, Blue of Snyder and Jeremiah Maldonado and wife, Belinda of Odessa; step children, Carol Hinojos and husband, Arturo of Odessa, Corina Barrera and husband, Albert of Odessa,  Christy Mendoza of Odessa, Cindy Marquez of Monahans, and Perfecto Mendoza Jr. and wife, Tammy of Odessa; sister, Herlinda Gonzales and husband, Federico of Snyder; brother, Santiago “Jimmy” Hernandez and wife, Irene of Lamesa; nine grandchildren, Ivy Gasper (Ruben), Alexa Maldonado, Orlando Maldonado Jr., Isaiah Alvarado, Joshua Alvarado (Aryn), Bergandi Alvarado, Sarah Medina (Jobani), Tabitha Maldonado and Jeremiah Maldonado Jr.; 12 step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Ricardo Hernandez, Conrado Hernandez Sr., and Elias Hernandez.
