Geralene Faulkenberry

    Graveside service for Geralene Faulkenberry, 91, of Lamesa will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Tobey Clements officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.  Facial masks and social distancing are required at funeral home and service.
    Geralene passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. 
    She was born January 6, 1929 to Derwood E. and Edna V. (McDonald) Jackson in Edgewood, Texas. She married Forrest Faulkenberry July 30, 1949 in Loraine, TX.  They were married 44 years.  She was a beautician for 40 years.  She was in Eastern Star No. 363 as Worthy Matron and a Pink Lady at Medical Arts Hospital.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved playing the game of 42. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church. 
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Beehive Assisted Living and Home Hospice for their special care.
    Geralene is survived by her children, Pam Vogler and Rick Faulkenberry both of Lamesa; identical twin sister, Nadine Gunnells of San Angelo; grandchildren, Davina Carter (Shane), Jeralyn Schwartz (Tim), Andy Griffith (Hazel), Krista Romero (Mark) and Janet Dorrington (John); great grandchildren, Raegan, Sydney, Eddy, Gloria, Caleb, Jordan, Devin, Brayden, Chris, Austin, Abigail, Layne, and Faith; niece, Twyla Huffman (Glenn); and nephew, Morris Gunnells and many more. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Kenneth and Billy Ray Jackson; son-in-law, Charles Vogler; brother-in-law, James Gunnells; nephew, James Edward Gunnells; and great grandchild, Michael Parrish.
