Gary Gill

    Gary Stephen Gill passed away in the arms of Jesus on July 6, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, in New Braunfels, Texas.  He was 72 years old.
    Gary was born in Lamesa, Texas on March 21, 1951 to Billie and Rosemary Gill.  He graduated from Lamesa High School in 1969 and was married to his high school sweetheart, Vannette McGuire Gill, for 54 years.
    He grew up farming and enjoyed farming with Jackie Warren for many years.  He also worked for King Mesa Gin for 20 years.  
    There will be a graveside service in Lamesa, Texas on July 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
    Gary is preceded in death by his father, Billie Gill, and his mother, Rosemary Gill.
    He is survived by his wife, Vannette; daughter Aimee (Chris) of New Braunfels, and daughter Amanda(Jonathan) of Seminole; his sister Sandra(Paul) of Baltimore, sister Susan (Charlie) of El Paso, and brother Keith (Kara) of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by the true loves of his life: his grandchildren; Peyton (America), Alexis, Erin, Dru and Garrett; and his great-granddaughter Elliana Grace.  
    Gary was loved and respected by all who knew him.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family including his sister-in-law Janice Creel and his late brother-in-law Robert Creel.
