Gary Davis

   Gary Davis of Seminole, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 26, 2023 at the age of 56.       
   Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at South Seminole Baptist Church with Pastor Buck Wheat officiating and Pastor CB Sutton assisting. 
    Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, Texas.
    Gary was born August 6, 1967 to George and Elaine Davis of Lamesa. Gary never met a stranger and was deeply loved by his family, community and Church family at South Seminole Baptist Church.
    Gary could be seen out and about with his Seminole “mom”, Peggy Villalva feeding the sports teams, working at the Seminole Kids Workshop for the disabled or helping the Lions Club with their Christmas Planning and many other activities. He was disabled in mind but not in spirit and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him was profound.
He exemplified the love of Jesus by being loving, kind and generous. He loved Jesus with all his heart and soul.
    He leaves behind his Mother, Elaine Davis of Lamesa, two sisters, Sharla Lee and Shayla Cates (Mike) of Lamesa and Randee Parker of Meadow, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews. Gary was blessed with caregivers who became like family in Seminole who loved him like a son. He will leave behind a “mom” and “dad” Rudy and Peggy Villalva, four “brothers”, CB Sutton (Codi) of Ballard Texas, Kaden Hinsley, Jase
Hinsley and Izaiah of Seminole, five “sisters” Valerie Villalva and Zaeviana of Seminole, Gina Villalva of Odessa, Emily Villalva of Lubbock and Julie Kinnard (Coby) of Baird. 
    He was reunited in Heaven with his dad, George Davis; brother-in-law Mike Lee, Maternal grandparents Thurman and Lora Patterson, Paternal grandparents, Dan and Minnie Davis and many other family members.
    All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoops, Dreams and Goals at 409 Runnels Street, Big Spring, Texas 79720 or on the website www.wtchmhmmr.org
