Frank Garig

Memorial services for Frank Robroy Garig will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 212 NE 27th St. Lamesa, Texas. Services will be officiated by Victor Enriquez at 2:00 P.M., December 28th.
Frank was born on May 4th, 1930 in Chico, California. He passed away December 8th, 2019 in Lamesa, Texas.
Frank was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 1st, 1950. He and his wife Margaret spent 44 years in Lamesa happily fulfilling Jesus command to preach and make disciples (Matthew 28:19). When Margaret passed away in 2004, Frank continued this work side by side with Maryellen Neuhaus in Oregon until her death in 2017. The last two years of Frank’s life were spent back in Lamesa, TX with his spiritual family.
Frank will be remembered by many as someone who always put spiritual things first. There is no doubt that through the trials and tribulations, Frank made his heavenly father’s heart rejoice with decades of dedication to his service and organization. Ecclesiastes 7:1 says “A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.”  Frank’s name is now in God’s memory.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Rukins and Mary Garig; his first wife, Margaret Sprague Garig; his later wife, Maryellen Neuhaus Garig, three of his brothers, Doug, Bill and Ned; his sister Eunice; and stepson Ronnie.
He is survived by his brother Ralph, stepchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a worldwide brotherhood of loving brothers and sisters.
