Earl Turner Clark

    Funeral service for Earl Turner Clark, 66, of Lamesa will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Earl passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Lamesa, Texas in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. 
    He was born October 21, 1955 to Ruth and John Henry Clark. Earl served in the Unites States Marine Corps. He was a Worshipful Master Mason in the O’Donnell Lodge 1187 and a 32nd-degree Mason.  Earl was also a member of the Lubbock Scottish Rite, a member of the York Rite Bodies Chapter and Council and Commandery, and enjoyed playing chess. He loved fishing, arrowhead hunting, collecting guns, and reading history books, and was a skilled machinist with lathes.
    Earl is survived by his two sons, Chad Turner Clark, and Jake Roger Clark of Lamesa; sister, Jonice Lauderdale and husband, Marshall, their daughter, Lacey Frommelt and her husband, Damon of Lamesa; brother Jimmy Moseley of New Mexico, his children, Ashley, Kristin, Sophie, and Ben; by the joy of his life, his two granddaughters, Ella and Emma Clark of Wellman; and numerous nieces and nephews.  
    Earl is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Clark, and mother, Ruth Jones, and stepfather, Jiggs Jones.
